Role Overview:
Our HR team is responsible for ensuring the most important aspect of any business is fulfilled and staying profitable. Ensure all documentation is correctly filled in, recorded, and filed in order to maintain organization and accurate representation of the company’s employees’ documentation.
You will also be responsible for handling the administration of our own team recruits and assisting them in their onboarding process. Provide support before our new employees arrive with all the necessary documentation and legal aspects. Additionally, you will be responsible for the administration of the office and ensure that the office is 100% equipped and set for work.
Requirements:
- Experience: 0-6 months of work experience in the hospitality industry; experience in a HR setting is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency in managing multiple projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages (such as Spanish or French) is advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM systems would be an advantage, Creative and hardworking, Excel, Word, basic Photoshop and Acrobat knowledge
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with candidates,
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively, even when working under pressure.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges related to placements and candidate onboarding.
- Service Orientation: Passion for hospitality, cultural exchange, and providing high-quality service to both candidates and host companies.
- Legal Requirements: Possession of legal documentation to work and reside in the country from which you are applying.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records and updating databases.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and other HR-related activities.
Recruitment Assistance:
- Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview details, assessments, and onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update the recruitment tracker.
Employee Engagement:
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, team events, and wellness initiatives.
- Distribute surveys and compile feedback to assess employee satisfaction and areas of improvement.
Policy and Compliance:
- Help ensure HR policies and procedures are followed across departments.
- Assist with compliance audits and reporting requirements.
Data Management:
- Update HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) with accurate employee data.
- Generate reports and insights on HR metrics such as turnover rates, training participation, and employee demographics.
Other Tasks:
- Handle general inquiries from employees and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.
- Assist in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR team.
