Content Manager & Editor Intern

Your Friends Are Boring organizes group trips for people who don’t know each other but share the same interests, like surfing or scuba diving. These trips are led by influencers and community leaders who bring their audiences together to travel. We handle the logistics; they bring the community. We launched 30 trips in 2025 and are scaling to 350+ in 2026. With us, your next trip is anything but boring.

Role Description

We are seeking a Content Manager & Editor for a part-time, on-site internship at Lanzadera (Valencia), with the potential to grow into a full-time role. This position has two sides. First, content operations: every trip generates around 4,000 pieces of content, and you’ll be responsible for organizing, classifying, and filtering it to build a usable content library. Second, content creation: you’ll edit short-form video for Instagram and TikTok, stay ahead of trends, and be the person who brings our social presence to life. This is not a «schedule posts» role. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes short-form video, moves fast, and wants to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Strong visual taste and genuine passion for short-form video content
• Proficiency in CapCut or similar video editing tools
• Deep knowledge of Instagram Reels and TikTok trends, formats, and best practices
• Ability to organize and filter large volumes of visual content quickly and with good judgment
• Self-starter who can work autonomously and move fast
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Familiarity with content strategy and audience engagement is a plus
• Background in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Experience creating content for travel, lifestyle, or community brands is a bonus

• Paid internship, compensation depends on number of hours (orientative: 300€/month for 20h/week)
• Flexible schedule: hours and days are flexible as long as they are agreed in advance and consistently respected
