Role Description
KECH Development is seeking an AI Engineering Intern (for academic credit) to join our Eixample, Barcelona office. This is a fully on-site internship (no remote or hybrid option), designed for university students who want hands-on experience working on real-world AI and software projects within a professional environment.
Candidates must be currently based in Barcelona (or nearby) and able to commute to our Eixample office.
This role is ideal for students studying Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. High-performing interns may be considered for a future full-time paid position, subject to performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and deployment of AI/ML models
- Support data preparation, analysis, and model evaluation
- Collaborate closely with engineers on applied AI solutions
- Document workflows, experiments, and technical outcomes
- Work with cross-functional technical and business teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled university students eligible to receive academic credit
- Working knowledge of Python and core AI/ML concepts
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
